Weekly KC Metro Market Update

Hello and welcome to our weekly real estate blog! Wyandotte County real estate is on fire, I’m excited to bring you the latest updates on our local market.

This week, we saw 14 new homes listed for sale, which is a decent amount of inventory for buyers to choose from. The number of homes sold was impressive at 43, indicating strong demand from buyers. Additionally, there were 44 pending sales, suggesting that the market is active and there are plenty of interested buyers out there.

The average sales value and average sell value were $229,000 and $226,000, respectively. While the difference may seem small, it’s important to note that the average sales value reflects the price that homes are listed at, while the average sell value reflects the actual price that homes are sold for. This indicates that there may be some room for negotiation in the market, which could benefit both buyers and sellers.

The days on market were a short 13, which is great news for sellers as it suggests that properties are selling quickly. This could be due to the strong demand from buyers and the limited inventory available in the current market.
