Glenn and Parker had been looking for a home on acreage that didn’t sit too far from town. They wanted their new home to have that small town feel that reminded them of their childhoods, but had to be within an hour of a major airport so that they could enjoy easy access to travel.
They settled on Weston, Missouri, located in the northwest corner of Platte County. Rolling hills, wineries, a genuine small town feel with an honest to goodness main street.
After meeting with their lender, they found their mortgage rate had dropped over the past few weeks from 7.31% to 6.475%, delivering signficant savings in their monthly payment. (Which would improve even more when they hit their planned refinance next spring.)
They locked their rate, we wrote the offer, and they are scheduled to close January 17th, and will move in just before thei 27th wedding anniversary.
