Let’s start with Overland Park, where 13 homes were listed and 41 homes were sold this week. The average list price was $469,000, and the average sales price was $487,000. Looks like the sellers know what their homes are worth, and buyers are willing to pay up for a slice of the Overland Park pie. And with an average of only 27 days on the market, these homes are hotter than a Kansas summer!
Moving on to Olathe, where 10 homes were listed and 35 homes were sold this week. The average list price was $467,000, while the average sales price was a sweet $434,000. Looks like the buyers may be snagging some great deals in Olathe, with prices slightly below the asking price. And with an average of 57 days on the market, you may have little more time to decide on your dream home.
Finally, in Shawnee, we saw 5 homes listed and 16 homes sold this week. The average list price was $406,000, while the average sales price was $404,000. Hey, it’s not always about the money, right? Prices are stable in Shawnee, and these homes are flying off the market with an average of only 20 days on the market.
