Weekly KC Metro Market Update

Hello everyone, and welcome to our TeamRE weekly real estate blog! As an experienced Kanas City Realtor, I’m excited to share some updates on what’s been happening in our local market.

This week, we saw a 5% increase in the number of homes listed for sale, which is good news for buyers who are looking for more options. Additionally, the number of homes sold increased by an impressive 24%, indicating strong demand in the market.

However, there was a slight dip in the number of pending sales, down 4% from the previous week. While this may be a temporary trend, it’s important to keep an eye on this metric as it can impact market activity in the long run.

The average list value was up 3%, which is good news for sellers as it suggests that properties are being priced appropriately. However, the average sell value was down 2%, indicating that buyers may be negotiating harder on prices.

The days on market were down 18%, which is a positive sign for sellers as it suggests that properties are selling more quickly than in previous weeks.
