As we see inventories start to rise throughout most of the metro, Bonner Springs and Edwardsville see 0 new listings last week, while Kansas City, Kansas delivers 38 new listings. The INDEXKC is shocked to see the the relationship between Bonner Springs Average List Values of $365,488 compared to Average Sales Values of $350,900….
Buyers looking into Wyandotte county are expecting to find bargains, and they are finding them through shrewd negotiation.

What is Kansas known for?
Kansas, like most other states, is known for a variety of things. Listed below are three things that the Sunflower State is best known for.
1. The Wizard of Oz
You can’t think of Kansas without thinking of Dorthy and The Wizard of Oz. There are quite a few Oz-themed attractions in Kansas, including the Oz Museum, the Oz Winery, and Dorothy’s House and the Land of Oz.
2. Great Plains
Kansas is part of the Great Plains, which is a large area of flatland that’s located west of the Mississippi River and east of the Rocky Mountains. Most of the Great Plains is covered in prairie and grassland.
Interestingly, there’s a lot of wheat grown in Kansas. In fact, there’s so much wheat grown here each year that it would stretch from western Kansas all the way to the Pacific Ocean.

There are many different facts about Kansas you may not already be aware of. One of the most interesting facts is that Kansas is home to the windiest city in the United States, Dodge City. Dodge City has an average wind speed of 14 mph. Even though Dodge City isn’t known as “The Windy City,” it very much so is. You definitely won’t have any problems flying kites in Dodge City. In case you’re wondering, Chicago is known as “The Windy City.” Another interesting fact about Kansas is that it played a huge role in the American Civil War. Surprisingly, there were more Civil War casualties (around 8,500) in Kansas than in any other state of the Union.
