The heart of Johnson County, Kansas delivers strong value appreciation and equity. All three of the major micro markets in Johnson County average sold values continue to exceed average list values. (Execptions are homes that need significant repair/upgrade issues addressed.)
Buyers, while prices remain strong, so do appreciation values. Sellers, move to get your homes on market while rates have dropped a full 1% over the past 4 weeks; expect a temporary slow down over the next week while parents head back to school for the first full week.
Fun fact regarding Shawnee, Kansas….48.5% of the population is male, and 51.5% of the population is female, per the most recent census. (city.info.com).
