Danny and Maria had their offer accepted last week and man oh man are they excited! Maria explains, “Inventory rose a bit, rates stabilized, and we had so much less competition this time around, compared to last summer. Rates will drop in a few months and we’ll refinance, dropping our monthly payment.”
Their Realtor, Tess Booth, had helped with the strategy. “These guys have been terrrific students, willing to put in the time to carefully growing their credit scores in preparation for their purchase.”
Maria and Danny got over the fear of missing out, focusing instead on their long-term plans. Danny tells us, “We waited on the right combination of bedrooms, baths, and garage stalls, and compromised on the floor plan. We wanted a front to back split, but our side to side split gives us the same flexibility and there were more homes to choose from in this floor plan in the neighborhood we prefered.”
