Clay County delivers some of the shortest Days on Market numbers in the metro. Homes are selling quickly, and the gap between Average List Values and Average Sales Values continue to close. Price reductions continue to rise as sellers are reacting to “The Shift”.
Wikipedia tells us….Clay County was once a popular destination for tourists because of its hot springs and mild climate. Steamboats brought them to various hotels in Green Cove Springs, such as the St. Elmo, Clarendon, and Oakland.
Check out the number of price reductions and the watch the days on market continue to extend as the market shifts….The shift is driven by several factors; rising mortgage interest rates, falling numbers of new build permits, buyer pool exhaustion/contraction….and the wild card, inflation.
