Weekly KC Metro Market Update
Cass County list and sales values are closing rapidly this week. Sales values are rising, slowly, putting both BUYERS and SELLERS into great positions.
Experienced Realtors are explaining to both BUYERS AND SELLERS, “It’s time to make your next move.” Rates dropped last week 1/2 point, and are hovering at 6.75% for well prepared buyers.
Steve and Cate are moving full-speed ahead, in spite of their initial misgivings. They know the rate drop will only lead to more competition, and they are tired of the multi-offer issues they faced last summer. Rates will likely fall to the mid 5’s and potentially high 4’s next spring; they will refinance then….Long after they get their offer accepted this winter with very little competition.
