Relationships And Intentional Gratitude This Holiday Season
The holiday season is a time that should be about family, friends, and relationships. A time of heartfelt smiles and surrounding yourself with those you care for, respect, and love. This year, I hope you’ll join me by simply being thankful.
This may be a nerd alert, but I get up every morning and am intentional in being thankful for simple stuff first… My car has gas, I have food in the pantry, I have a couple bucks in my wallet, the heat works… That’s the kind of place I start from, then I work my way up to the bigger things. Thankful for the team I have at work, the health of my family, and a platform to share my passion for real estate and helping the community.
I’m not saying it’s always easy, but it’s the way I have to start out my day to get my mind right.
This year, as I move my gratitude out towards our business, I’m thinking about the 80+ families we helped purchase and sell a home in the KC Metro and beyond. The people themselves, not the dollars. I’m grateful for their trust in us and the opportunity to serve them. I’m also grateful for the painters, plumbers, landscapers, garage door companies, lenders, and property and casualty insurance folks that we are able to support as we grow our business.
Dearest reader, I am thankful for you, as well. We rant and rave, laugh and cry in Life And Style, as well as here on our blog. I wear my heart on my sleeve and I hope you feel the authenticity bleed through the screen. Happy Holidays from all of us here at Team Real Estate!
